Earl Lassiter was raised in Philadelphia, living with his parents and siblings. By high school, Lassiter joined his school choir and he knew from there he wanted to pursue a career in music. The performing artist made his debut on Philly's most happening radio station POWER 99 FM, where he entered and won the "Sounds of Power" contest."
Lassiter's original song, "Only One" had stolen the attention from all the competition. From winning Power 99 FM, gave him airplay and a, keyboard, drum machine, and free studio time to record his single. His talents also gained him the opening act performance at POWER 99 FM's showcased at POWERHOUSE which included many mainstream artists Mary J. Blige, After 7, Keith Sweat, CeCe Peniston, Queen Latifah, and more.
Lassiter has had extensive trainings at the prestigious Freedom theatre in Philadelphia, where he enhanced his performance skills. Lassiter has actively worked in the circuit, from wooing crowds at local venues, touring and festivals in different cities throughout the United States to promoting his own packed to capacity shows.
Lassiter has worked with local cover bands and performed opening acts for the Original Intruders, Hearts of Stone, No UTurn, and more. In late 2018, Lassiter’s voice and style merited his current position as singing lead for The Intruders.
